BOILISÉ exhibited at the Made In France trade fair in Paris

BOILISÉ exposait au salon du Made In France à Paris

This past November , BOILIS É exhibited at the Made In France trade fair in Paris. We tell you…

What is the Made In France show?

It is the unmissable event which highlights those who have chosen to manufacture their products in France.

In 2022, the show celebrated its 10th anniversary and broke all records: more than 100,000 visitors, 1015 exhibitors and more than 400 journalists to cover this special edition.

From clothing to decoration, including gastronomy and innovation from companies of all sizes were brought together

Among them, Le Slip Français, Lustucru, DOP, Moulinex and… BOILÉ!

Objectives achieved?

Since our creation, we have made it a point of honor to manufacture all our products in France and to use local artisans and producers as much as possible.

This is why it was an honor and an important step for BOILISÉ to have exhibited his paintings in the capital during this event dedicated to French manufacturing.

In addition, we were able to proudly represent our region within the Occitanie Pavilion alongside inspiring local companies such as Orphée dodo , Transfarmers , NKD Puzzle , K'ribean Cocktails , and Eautours .

Our region paid us back by putting us in the spotlight in the local press, including coverage in Midi Libre on the day of our departure. A great surprise !

The objective was to make known our wooden and relief topographical maps which are the only ones to exist in France, and it is a real success for us.

Hundreds of people stopped to chat with us, we filled our Christmas order book (and had to postpone some) and our social media accounts gained many followers.

Personally, this show will remain a unique (and trying) experience. We loved discussing our products for 4 days and will keep in very good contact with some of the visitors and co-exhibitors.

How did we prepare?

We started preparing for the show in September 2022 by studying the plans provided by the organization and previewing our stand in 3D.

Our goals were simple:
  • Show as many tables as possible
  • Explain their manufacture with a video by studying the plans provided by the organization and previewing our published stand
  • Attract the attention of walkers with targeted messages
  • Present a large format model for professionals

For this, we manufactured most of the elements ourselves, from the furniture to the small laser-cut panels.

This allowed us to be ready on the big day and to set up a stand that perfectly met our expectations.

The screen on our stand allowed us to show all our manufacturing secrets with a video edited for the occasion.

Many visitors preferred to ask us questions directly and we were happy to answer them.

(You will find our Youtube video right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iyuSmuPl2k).

To keep in touch, we made nearly 150 wooden business cards: we absolutely wanted to avoid the mass distribution of printed paper cards that end up in the trash.

Problem is, these cards were victims of their success and we very quickly exhausted our daily stocks. Given the traffic on our site and our social networks after the show, we believe that they successfully fulfilled their mission.

How did the show go?

Stand with visitors

From Thursday morning (despite the strikes) until Sunday evening, BOILISÉ attracted a lot of curious people.

The ultra-positive feedback and “hot” impressions from people who chatted among themselves while observing the paintings surprised us.

We will note that the product pleased with its originality (especially with a view to a Christmas gift) and impressed by its finesse and the time required to make it.

Many visitors stopped to play a little game trying to guess the location of the cards. We answered all questions in detail, including very technical questions about manufacturing.

We also discussed and exchanged with other exhibitors with whom we shared our know-how and experiences. The breakfasts organized by Ad'Occ were ideal for this.

The 4 days were more intense than we imagined and we are delighted to see how successful our paintings were.

We are already looking forward to participating in an upcoming event!
